Everyone on message boards: WHY DID WE PICK ANOTHER GUARD, WE ALREADY HAVE 10 ON THE ROSTER!!!

Those same people on message boards: WE NEED ANOTHER GUARD THAT’S EXACTLY THE TYPE OF PLAYER WE ALREADY HAVE MULTIPLE OF!!!

You can't intentionally screw a team you just got a great deal from. That's a bad look that will make other teams not trust you. But there's nothing wrong with hoping someone else over pays Bogdanovic and Milwaukee is not as good as they were hoping to be when they made the deal for Jrue.

I guess you’re talking about other posters because I haven’t said anything about too many guards.

And this probably isn’t even applicable because in order to get Bogdon through the S&T we would have to give up a guard or two.

How much do you want to pay him? Because the bucks have to do at least a 3 year deal and can start it at around 18Million at the most. Now, if you actually believe there is a rift and not just a play to avoid tampering allegations, than the Pels are probably going to have to do at least that.

Hart and Redick are literally the same player as Bogdon, and they are already on the roster.

He will get overpaid in this weak fa class, and we should not be the team to do it for a guy that would be coming off the bench

Again, one of those guys won't be here after this season. The other plays more 3 than 2 but they can interchange.

Lewis is the lead guard of the future and Zo isn't the guy I want off ball long term to match that. Bledsoe is the perfect stop gap and Hill is an expiring. I'm looking past this season. Again just my thoughts.

You don't pay a 27 year old big money for a season or 2 from now.

Lonzo actually translates very well at the off guard spot as long as his shot keeps developing, and he's not going to cost more than 12-14 million next year.

We already have Hart who also plays the 2 well.

NAW who is a 1-2 combo guard.

Kira who will be our lead guard if it all pans out.

I'm just saying, there is no room nor need to spend the amount of money he will get for this roster. That money would be better spent on a 3-4 type like Gallo if you want to spend it somewhere.

I guess where we differ is I think Zo is going to cost $20m and I want no part of that. We almost have too many ball handlers now.

I can see the argument where Bogdan and Hart overlap but I think Zo is going to be too costly and I'd rather get something for him now of value that can help this team.

There's no such thing in the NBA. You can have to many high usage players, but you can never have to many ball handlers. Every player being a threat to pass at anytime is what makes your team great, just look at those GS teams, 1-5 everyone could handle the ball.

He's a RFA next season. We can keep him without overpaying him. If another team wants him and wants to pay more than we are willing to, then we can just work out a sign and trade using him then. Lonzo is not a guy we would lose for nothing, and he's also not someone you trade for pennies on the dollar.

BB is restricted so I would pass. We lack the financial flexibility to sign him. I would go after his teammate, Harry Giles.

Depends on the price but honestly... no. Gonna be expensive and his defense isn’t anything great. Wouldn’t be upset if Griff wanted him tho

Also just saw he’s 28.. didn’t realize he started the league at 25
