Neither one is going to be those ratings until year 3 or 4. I don't put much stock into rookies.

One of the crazier bumps but I'll allow it.

How giant was the Buddy over Murray pick mistake? It was pretty obvious to most who was going to be the superior player though.

What we'll never know is if Murray would have gone with the Cousins trade.

the better question would be:
would they have taken murray for cousins.

IIRC the kings were the ones that called hield the next curry so thats why they pursued him.

Yeah the Kings were high on Buddy so I don’t see them wanting Murray and man if we had Zion, Ingram and Murray. What could have been.

That's a significant change to make while assuming all other things since still happen the same way.

Jamal Murray is currently the same age as Buddy was his senior year at Oklahoma

They’ve played 4 years in the NBA already

Yeah, it’s almost a certainty we don’t get Zion in this scenario.

Maybe so but on the flip side maybe it’s the Pelicans in the WCF with Davis vs LeBron and some other super star.

Barely any teams wanted anything to do with Cousins.

Calling Heild the next Curry would have been partly PR spin to sell the trade to the fans

If the GM says it sure. When it’s a meddling newer owner, I think he meant it. Remember that Sacramento had a closed bid process. They only talked to teams that had a player they wanted to build a trade around.
