Maxey- Embid- James- Brown- Edgecombe
Each one of those players would be the best player on our team.
This is the best starting 5 in the NBA hands down.
If they stay healthy I don’t see how they don’t win it all.
Also, that’s alot of mouths to feed, interesting to see how it works out.

The Spurs started Wemby, Castle, Harper, Fox and Vassell tonight. That's a better starting 5, with the 3 best players.

Debatable. James is 42, on a vet minimum, and will likely breakdown this year. I bet neither he or Embiid crack 50 games this year..

Sixers won’t make ECF. LeBron, Embiid won’t finish season

It’s good now but yeah I wouldn’t expect them to make a full season.
On the other hand watching OKC-SA, those are two awesome rosters that can win games multiple ways.

LeBussy is a toxic player and doesnt foster true team dynamics. They wont go all the way imo

Load management at its finest this season. Minute restrictions and no back to back

They have quality on the bench too.

Zion in Year 8 and the Pels are still waiting …

They have no depth. Only 4 players of the bench played. And only 2 of them played more than 10 minutes. They can't keep it up all season.

They have Simmons, Philbon, dean wade, and kcp(vet on downside). That's decent with the starting lineup they have.
There backup center spot isn't great.

For real, Embid and Lebron will be out after the first month

Jalen Brown would not be the fourth best player on the Spurs.

with Embiid and an aged James, i can almost GUARANTEE that won't happen

The Spurs could have had Brown this summer for either Castle or Harper. They refused to include either one. Both just have way more upside and are much cheaper. There isn't a team in the league that would choose Brown over that duo. So he's better than them cause he scores more?

Right now they are not better at basketball than Jalen Brown. No shite they wouldn't include them in a trade for Brown, they are younger and both on rookie contracts. Whether you would take them going forward is irrelevant to who is the better player right now.

Analytics would not be in your favor.

So, if you ran a team you'd pick Brown over either one?
If they are more valuable, wouldn't that make them better?
I know salary and age matters some. But it doesn't make with the elite. I'm picking Jokic no matter what. So it can't just be about the money..

Are you expecting them to all play 48 minutes a night. Depth on that team is horrific; and I suspect the availability on that team will be every bit as horrific.
