7 games vs. "tanking" teams on the schedule

Think 15-10 should be the high exp. w/ ridiculous schedule
and 10-15 should be the low exp. ending at 41-41

What say ye?

Good enough to be an 8 seed and get out first round again.
42-40.

Looking at the schedule I'm seeing 12-13/13-12. Would put us at 43/44 wins. As hard as this is to say I don't think that's even enough to get in this year. It's going to be a fight till the end.

14-11

This assumes AD stays healthy.

12 wins is my floor for acceptability, and i doubt that will get you in the playoffs this year.

I expect us to win a few games we aren't supposed to (Hou, Bos, SA, etc.) and inexplicably lose to a team or two tanking. I see us finishing around .500 for the remaining 25 games which should put us at 7/8 seed.

I think y’all are crazy with all these losses to the Spurs. We will at least take 2 of 3

They are 22-6 at home this season.

The losses are to GSW, MIL, IND, PHI, HOU, and UT. Both UTA and HOU matchups were part of their current 10+ games winning streaks. Now they do seem to be wearing down and we seem to match up well, but people will give them the beenfit of the doubt because they are still the Spurs at home.

They are a completely different team at home than away. And it's to offset some of the other 50/50 games

17-8, finish as the 5 seed.

The AD/Mirotic/Jrue trio is really starting to click. Hill returning and quality backup time from Diallo won't hurt any, either.

Quality backup time from Diallo?

You are alone on that island.

He's been playing lot better than the extreme negative he was earlier in the year. His foul rate is down a good bit, 2.6 PFs per 36 the last 10 games vs a worse than Ajinca 6.9 IIRC earlier in the year. I don't think he's playing as well as some of his stats suggest, but he's become playable.

You just need him to play well enough right now to give you 10 minutes or so a night. Especially if Solo comes back and plays some small ball 4. He's played well enough to do that IMO.

I guess it's a quibble to focus on the word quality re diallo.

By now you would hope he had learned the game. Glad for him.

It would be a game changer if he can be an impact player as the first big off bench.

He makes plays, and at this point with no Boogie we don't have a choice. We aren't putting anyone else off the bench out there because he's got the most talent.

As for the games remaining, I think it's going to take 15-10 with wins against the right teams. My fear is that it's going to come down to the last week of the season.
