Love seeing the Lakers getting blown out to start the year

1 step closer to Wembanyama.
He is going to look good next to Zion next year.

Lebron gonna melt this year 0-1

The best stats:
Steph 32 mins
Klay 20 mins
Dray 25 mins
Bron 35 mins
AD 36 mins
Lakers lose by 14, at one point in the 3rd they were down by 30, and it’s not because GS rolled out their best lineup for most of the game.
Oh, and Lebron after game 1 is already criticizing the roster construction saying they have no shooting.
Gonna be a great season

They have no shooting because LeBron insisted on Westbrook last season to give him a break rather than Buddy Hield to shoot from outside.
If they trade for Hield, a lot of these problems are lessened between him shooting and not losing as many pieces like KCP, Kuzma, and-or Caruso.

Yeah, the review of last night’s action summed that one up…
The Warriors went light on their starters to get them back in game shape and still cockslapped the Lakers.
While the Warriors are reigning champs and have a good second unit, it isn’t good for LA to be out of it so quickly.
The review said we may see a repeat of last season under these circumstances. If so, that swap may be pretty impressive.

I watched that whole Lakers game. They are not good.
AD insists on taking 15 fadeaways every game b/c he’s a bitch and Lebron looks old. He still has his moments, but Lebron isn’t the same player anymore and I don’t think he can carry this team to even a winning record. There’s 10 better healthy rosters in the west than them.

the lakers took 93 shots
40 of them 3 pointers

I had to get up early today and couldn't stay up to watch, but I see that the Lakers shot 10-40 from 3-pt range. Shooting a ton of 3s at a 25% clip isn't going to win very many games.
Twenty-one turnovers isn't going to work, either.

It’s his fricking fault the roster looks like this.
He demanded Westbrook and sent out all their shooters in the process either via trade or not resigning them in the case of Caruso.

The Lakers just aren't good, simple as that. I don't even konw if they trade for Hield/Turner if it makes them that much better.
As long as AD just goes through the motions, like he always has, and doesn't become the best player on that team, they are going nowhere. Lebron needs to be the complimentary piece on any team he's on that's going to be good at this part of his career, and i say that not so that i expect Lebron to go for 15/10/10, but just that the burden of everything offensively can't be on him.
But as always, anytime you ask AD to take that burden, he's going to shy away from it. It's simply who he is, and always has been.
We always said AD was probably the best Robin there is, but in truth, he's always been an average Robin, Lebron was just the best Batman ever and the rest of the squadron was top notch.
they said it on TNT last night. "Shaq, you've said the same exact thing about Anthony Davis on the first day of the season 4 years in a row now, and we see the same Anthony Davis every year."
This notion of him being a top 5 player potentially is just nonsense, b/c he's no where close to that, nor has he ever played near that level.

AD isn’t even the best Robin that LeBron’s had.
LeBron had Wade and Bosh in Miami and Kyrie and Love in Cleveland.

I have enjoyed seeing AD get exposed as the bitch he is.
Posted on 10/19/22 at 8:47 am to teke184
If the Lakers offered AD right now for trade, they would maybe get 1/2 of the haul that Griff got from the Lakers. Dude is unrealized potential, wrapped in a porcelain exterior, with the mind of a child.
