Not that i wish injury on anyone, but if Lebron were to get injured for a significant amount of time this year, that team is bottom 5 in the league without a doubt. I'd say the same for AD as well, and you can pretty much guarantee he'll miss at least 30 games, especially when you add in all the time he'll go ice his vagina midway through a game and not return.
their #2 guy off the bench didn't even know if he was going to make the team last week.

He really is soft as charmin and will never be the alpha of a team. That's all folks. frick the Lakers.

gsw looked like arse for the first half and still had a 20 point lead like 2 minutes into the 3rd

Half? I don’t see him getting that much.
Griff got BI, Lonzo, Hart, 4th overall that year, a 23 swap, a 22 first, and a 24 first deferrable to 25.
BI and Lonzo were both top 3 picks and seen as good prospects albeit banged up.
I don’t see them getting anywhere near that for AD. Mainly salary filler, one prospect, and a pick.

I'm convinced Lebron is just a compiler at this point and I'm not sure he has a problem with it.
His pea brain wants to say "sure we're 25 games under .500, but it isn't me, look at the stats!" and he's ok with that.

LeBron only cares about winning the scoring title. He will pace himself all year to make sure he has enough gas in the tank to do that.

Which, ironically, was a lot of the pissing and moaning about Westbrook last season.
Westbrook did his post-season interview talking about how his stats were low for him because he didn’t average a triple double and implied he made sacrifices for the team by doing so despite the team not winning.
LeBron pulling the same shite is a bad look.

Lakers were playing hard on defense and giving good effort and still lost. If losses start to pile up that effort will go away and theyll be even worse. They have a hard start to the season

Which I have been pointing out for a while now.
First seven are against the Warriors, Wolves, Nuggets (twice), Blazers, us, etc.
The easiest game of that run is the Blazers. Everyone else is expected to be a playoff team.

I have enjoyed seeing AD get exposed as the bitch he is.
I have nothing to add to this perfect statement of fact, just wanted to see it again.

lilliard and nurkic start healthy. lilliard gets rolling he can hit 40.
it would be delightful if laKers go 0-7 to start.
not out of the question.
wembayana!

Correct, Blazers could still frick them up.
Point being that they really don’t hit an easy stretch until they get two games with the Jazz around games 8-12. They could realistically be 3-12 by the 15th game of the season.

If the Blazers were to stay healthy, it would not surprise me to see them win 50 games this year.
Lillard
Simons
Hart
Grant
Nurkic
They've got some nice young guns to give minutes to in
Nassir Little
Keon Johnson
Shaedon Sharpe
Greg Brown
Their biggest issue is they have no bench other than those young guys. Not sure what Justice Winslow has left in the tank, and other than that they have Gary Payton to play defense.
on top of that they are slightly over the tax line, so they are very unlikely to make any trades to get better.
But if Lillard/Nurkic/Grant/Simons stay healthy, they can win more than they lose. Asking for Nurkic to stay healthy is a tough ask though, and they have zero help down low after him.

50 would surprise me a bit simply because so many teams in the west are loaded for bear. And in the east too.
Anything can happen but something closer to 40-45 is probably their ceiling IMHO.

It’s gonna be a fun year. We get to watch this fun as hell Pels team and root for the lakers to lose every game for the lottery. Pick.

Jazz crushed Denver last night. led by a couple of ageing stars and oft injured Maarkinen. will be a delight if jazz can hold it together long enough to keep the LaKers losing streak alive. lol.
