All of that is true, but Lebron isn't going to play Defense anymore for 90% of any game because he is no longer capable of it.
That isn't really a knock he is possibly the 2nd Best player of all time. Its just the reality of playing the most minutes of anyone in history.
He can definitely still give a lot on offense though.

Pre-season is usually just an extension of "open run"... guys are looking to just run out there and get loose. Nothing more than that.

Ja made a move at the goal and Cole Anthony just grabbed at the ball... Ja almost tweaked his knee....
Just dumb if you will go hard in pre-season. No reason to risk the season, let alone if you are a contending team risk playing in May/June

I’ll bump when he misses multiple games in a row. Don’t care currently even though they are in a battle with the Suns who just lost to an NBL team.

Suns have a lot of chemistry issues to start with.
They also have some people sitting awaiting trades and I doubt CP3 goes all out in the preseason.
If Ayton and Monty are at each other’s throats still, this could be a long season for them.

Legit just thought it was too ripe for the taking not to bump the thread.
Considering the consistency of this thread and its meaningfulness. Pretty sure it was bumped when the Lakers played in their 1st preseason game and everyone played....
This would be bigger news and actually granted discussion/bash/jokes etc..

To add; just watching body language..... I would think the Lakers do whatever it takes to dump Russ before the season or he will be "hurt"/"opt" out....
I believe he had a similar stretch in Houston where NBA players just pout and go into hermit mode or whatever...it's alot easier in 2022 to pull this off, but it's just not "it". Absolutely 0 can be taken from the pre-season right now as everyone is just running.. but Pat Bev/Reaves/Nunn all understand their roles and play their roles better.... Russ still hasn't bought into a certain role.
