The Lakers have a lot of issues.
Pelinka being in the front office is like fifth on the list behind LeBron / Klutch influence, Jeannie Buss thinking she knows what she is doing, and hangers-on like Linda Rambis having influence.

There’s a long line of good teams that don’t win in preseason. It generally doesn’t mean much.
Just about the only thing you can take from it is their depth is bad which we already knew.
If they have good health they will be ok in the regular season, .500ish team.
If they don’t they will stink.

yeah they'll be better. Kendrick nunn has been on fire this preseason. AD had a great game last night against the warriors who were playing most of their guys

The Lakers’ problem is that their first 10 or so games are mainly against very good teams, plus Portland and Utah.
Even if Green is out for the Warriors, I don’t see them losing on opening night.

Yeah their schedule is rough to start. I also think theyre going to make the russ trade at some point to improve. I actually think that rumored pacers trade would help the lakers a lot.
A starting lineup of Patbev, hield, lebron, AD, Turner is pretty good if healthy

The Lakers have kind of looked pretty good outside of Westbrook honestly. Walker looks like a good pickup for them. JTA is an underrated player.

There's nothing they can add that would make them a title contender. If anything it just makes them middling middle of the pack and locks in more salary.
