No Booker or ayton tonight for the suns. Don’t be surprised if lakers steal on here
Though ayton did participate in shoot around today so maybe he’ll be out there

Yeah, watch Lakers get lucky and every team they meet is decimated with injuries

Looks like Lakers will phone this one in...no Davis, no LeBron no Reaves...

Reaves has been the Lakers' 3rd-best player this season. In fact, his Total RAPTOR this season is actually 2nd-best on the team -- better than LeBron's. As big of a steal as Herb was for us last season, Reaves was not far behind as a 2nd-round steal for the Lakers.
Reaves was actually not drafted. And I read the Pelicans were ready to draft him in the 2nd but he told them not to, that he wanted to pick what team he went to after he dropped out of the first.

And if anyone knows AD intimately... it's Windhorst

It's now been a full four days since Davis injured his foot against Denver, and we have yet to get any specifics on his injury. There's no official word on what kind of injury it actually is, or how long he might be out (other than the leak to Shams of at least four weeks).
The speculation that I have seen is settling on some kind of Lisfranc injury, but there are, of course, various levels of Lisfranc injuries.
My guess is that the delay is because Davis is seeing some specialists to determine the extent of the injury and whether it will heal properly with rest and rehab, or whether it will require surgery.

Lisfranc injury
Toní is done this year and is going to have a long road to recovery.
The glass is half full if you enjoy his wardrobe attire because he finna wear beaucoup if he actually attends games.

The longer we go without getting any official word, the worse that we should assume that the injury is.

The Los Angeles Lakers are seeking additional opinions on Anthony Davis' foot injury, according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin.
Davis continues to receive treatment on his foot and is not currently wearing a boot, McMenamin added.

He’d be wearing a boot if they thought it was a Lisfranc.

If you read Google, lakers are trading for Beal, LaVine,Kuzma,Heild, Fox, etc.
The question is with fricking what...

They have two future firsts to offer. But if they are 7-8 games under .500 with Davis still out, they would be idiots to trade future picks for players to help this season.

Just curious, how far in advance are future draft picks available? Could you in theory trade a 2083 first round pick if another team is dumb enough to hold it for decades?

Lakers schedule is horrific even if they had AD. They may see 5 wins into February.
