Insane how well Utah is playing right now.

They kind of remind me of last year's Ja-less Grizz team that had the inexplicable record when he didn't play.

I know Markannen is playing well but none if what theyre doing makes sense.

Anyone want NAW back? Doesn't look like Utah will bring him back.

Same ole AD. Blows up the 1H then disappears in the 2H.

As bad as the Lakers have been...

...we only have 3 more wins than them.

As bad as the Pels have been, the 2nd best record in the NBA has only 3 more wins than us.

That's the key there. The West is very tight and no one is pulling away. The 1 seed is current only 2 games ahead.

The next five games (all of them in Crypto) for the Lakers are a real break for them.

They play the Clippers tomorrow in an "away" game, and then they get the Kings, Nets, Pistons, and Spurs at home.

Then, as I said, they face a brutal stretch that goes into January of 16 away games and only 6 home games.

So, these next five games could be key. If they can't win three of them, then it's really all over for them.

I agree with you. And this is when Lebron and Toni are healthy and fresh.

Shams says the obvious: the Lakers aren't trading picks unless they are contenders, and this team doesn't look like a contender right now.

they will be on the road in winter. at which point TD posters will be gleeful about the top 6 kids in the draft and doing juju mojo for a top 2 pick.

So the Lakers are waiting on someone that's not Kyrie, Hield/Turner.

Who?

Any guesses?

I would guess they are waiting for the Wizards or Bulls to stumble and go after Beal or DeRozan.
