They'll be the backup backcourt but really don't think they'll play a lot of minutes together. Can see them being staggered with one of BI or CJ.

yeah, apparently Brooklyn wanted Thybulle instead of Drummond which is why the trade took so long to go through.

I guess this keeps Embiid happy?

I look at it as addition by subtraction.

Simmons has been such a fricking headache that getting a different head case in Harden back is an improvement.

Can’t say that Harden won’t take shots in the 4th. Problem will be if he keeps taking shots on nights where they aren’t falling.

Harden is probably fine for the next few years. But in the 2nd or 3rd year of his next deal they might be where the Lakers are right now.

If they can manage to move Tobias for some young talent, then they still have good young players to build with.

But Harden and Embiid are bother players that will potentially miss time with injury.

Probably by myself on this one, but I'm not so sure this makes Philly better even for this year...

Who plays backup 5 for them now? Seth was a big part of their success when he was on the court. How much ball handling do they really need?? Maxey has done very well this year.

Really good trade for BKN in my opinion.

Assuming that Harden is healthy and playing, then any all star level player for Simmons is an upgrade.
