ESPN Sources: Although Brooklyn Nets guard James Harden wants a trade to the Philadelphia 76ers, he has resisted making that formal request out of fear of the public backlash that would come with asking out of a second franchise in consecutive seasons
So, instead of making the formal request because he thinks he's going to get backlash, he leaks it to Woj, which is basically the same thing as a formal request

Nuggets have put Campanzzo on the block and are looking for a wing defender with their 8.2M TPE
So Josh Hart

Hart is making $12 million, he doesn't fit their trade exception.

Word first started making the rounds last night, and discussion of a framework where Kristaps Porzingis potentially heads to Toronto has since circulated around NBA front offices. There's of course mutual interest in bringing Goran Dragic to Dallas. Unclear how serious talks are.

Even though Pacers center Myles Turner is out with a stress reaction in his foot, the Knicks are still pursuing him with Thursday’s 3 p.m. trade deadline approaching, according to an NBA source.

Keith Smith: It sounds like the Terrence Ross situation is playing out very similarly to Evan Fournier at last season’s deadline, per sources. Orlando wants a first round pick for Ross. Rival teams are hoping as the day goes along, that price come down to two second round picks.

With Bradley Beal electing for surgery this week, every player on the Wizards’ roster not named Kyle Kuzma is available, three different sources said this week. That doesn’t mean it’s a fire sale — the Wizards definitely want return value — but they are not keeping anyone besides Beal and Kuzma away from talks.

Why are teams always worried about holding on to Kyle kuzma lol

Kuzmas actually having a good year. Plus on a good valued deal with 2 years left

Kuzma has actually looked really really good this year. Definitely took a big step. Getting out of LA helped him a ton.
Think of how much pressure is taken off of you when A) you get out of Lakers country and B) you dont have the pressure of performing well for lebron.
I'd bet that makes a huge difference.

Is there anyway to get Ross or KCP as it appears the magic/wizards are selling?

It’s hard to develop as young player on a LeBron centric team where they tell you to just stand in the corner and shoot threes. They prioritize winning now over young players improvement. I don’t necessarily blame them because it is hard to balance, but if you look at how the Heat have operated the last few years, it can be done.
BI and Ball blossomed once they left the Lakers, Kuzma is blossoming a year after leaving, next up is THT who feels like a prime candidate to improve once he’s out from under the Lakers shadow.

I don’t know how we’d get there salary-wise. We’d have to send out Hayes and Temple or Temple, Willy, and Kira to make it work. Neither of those seems worth the slight upgrade

It has begun.
I’m just glad we made our big move and aren’t sitting waiting for nothing to happen.

I'll hope for something small but I'm content otherwise.
No biggie if it doesn't happen
