Earlier reports were one 1st for Levert. Stein is more of a news breaker so I trust him, but I'm curious if the price went up, meaning a tight market and everything is expensive, or if 2 1sts was always the price and the first report was wrong.

I'd much prefer us do pretty much nothing.
if they can dump a Sato with giving up minimal in return, fine.

The picks listed would come from us but imagine the Kings would need to throw a pick in

They lost their damn minds with this one

In related news the Pels are seeking AT LEAST three first rounders for NAW. I mean if others can throw around crazy arse demands why not?

I'd do two 2nds for Holiday in a heartbeat. Would finally bring a shooter into the second squad which would allow:
-NAW to focus on driving (which he's very good at)
-Holiday Shooting/Stretching
-Hayes Rim Running
-Alvo set the pace/intensity
I actually like it

I blame presti for this insanity
A few years ago levert might get you a late first but probably a couple of seconds.

Same.
Give them salary ballast like Sato or Temple, etc and 2 2nds, I would do that.

Probably overanalyzing the post game presser, but Willie was asked about Nickeil's better play of late. I was expecting an answer like "Yeah, he's working hard and doing what we've asked of him." What Willie actually said is "He's getting an opportunity to showcase what he's able to do at both ends of the floor."
Again, I'm probably reading too much into this, but his unexpected words and non committal expression when he said this, as opposed seeming proud of his improved play, combined with the exasperated look Willie gave NAW a few games ago when he made that dumb play in Brooklyn where he should have brought the ball back out, I feel like Willie is done with NAW and they are trying hard to move Nickeil.

forget hayes, Lewis, didi, etc
NAW is the most disappointing “bust”
I don’t understand how someone so intelligent (and he obviously is) can play so unintelligently

I’m not sure why anyone would at his salary

Griffin is the one who changed the market.
Presti has used that to the extreme but there are only so many superstars to go around and the market seems to be re-setting back.
Sucks for teams who missed that window and didn't have a superstar to dump

I get the feeling we'll go hard at CJ McCollum
As long as we don't trade Herb
Would be a giant upgrade at shooting guard
Hayes + NAW + top 8 protected 1st
Even send Hart out
