Apparently never in our history, in part because the cap was “only” $58m back in 2012 which was one of two seasons where we had a ton of space due to expirings (Kaman) and buyouts (Rashard Lewis’ partially guaranteed contract).

Trajan is obviously very familiar. He’s a backup PF. I’d take him but it wouldn’t be for much money obviously.

Considering that about 40% of the league is up for free agency this offseason, I am think we can get better for the same price he will want.

Yeah if he’s making near the minimum it’s good. Obviously Trajan knows what kind of dude he is and wants guys like him in the locker room.

Sources say the Pelicans, in addition to the Rockets, are among several teams intending to pursue free-agent Kevon Looney. He's only 23 and could be a good fit with Zion Williamson. BUT the Warriors are hoping to lock up Looney quickly, I'm told.
