KAT got hurt tonight and some are suggesting it may be bad enough to shut him down, so really glad MIN pulled out the win.

Covington should be back soon and that may provide a jolt to the Wolves.

and yes it was important for them to pull it out. I’m not saying losing KAT and gaining Covington is a win for us. I do think it’s possible RoCo can help them though.

Lakers might not win another game

It ain't the end of the world or anything, but those hustle squad wins over Houston, denver and the jazz may bounce out of the top 10 and out of a legitimate chance at a top 4.

At the same time, I like to have these young guys + Jrue engaged and not just trying to run out the clock on the season.

I say we grab 4 rec guys and play AD 48 minutes against them 3/31. No back to back on that night so hopefully LBJ suits up.

Don't want to be like Atlanta down 1 with like 10 seconds left and straight up refusing to foul to try and win.

I don't want anyone on my team who has that mentality.

I really hope John Collins plays tomorrow. We need him.

To me it looks like 34 wins or less would make me feel safe that we are still in the top 10. Some of the East teams we are competing with are going for the playoffs and they will all play each other.

I think we would have to almost lose out to have any chance at 7 or 8. And I am fine with the 9th pick, but the one thing I just don't want to see is Dallas jump into the top 4 and keep their pick. As long as they lose their pick, I will be happy

Even tanking doesn’t actually put the absolute percentages in our favor. I hate all of this shite. It takes the fun out of basketball.
I don’t have the time or energy to go to a game hoping we lose. Same with taking the time to watch a game on tv.

In the NFL, we’d be wondering if we pick 7-13 with zero chance at a top 3 pick. It’s better than nothing. It’s an interesting contradiction for me, I have no problem hoping we lose on the road, but I can’t support it when our guys are busting arse at home.

We have an interesting few games ahead of us. I can’t see us pulling out victories without Jrue against the better 1/3 of the league no matter what my preferred desire, so the two games against ATL and PHX loom large this week.

We are currently at #10 and I came here to say that nobody good was ever picked at #10. But then I looked it up.

Horace Grant, Paul Pierce, Jason Terry, Eric Dampier, Spencer Hawes, Brook Lopez, Joe Johnson, Andrew Bynum, Paul George, Justice Winslow, Thon Maker and Elfrid Payton were all #10 picks.

That being said...Austin Rivers was a #10 pick as well.

With the Lakers being terrible our chance at Zion, Morant, Barrett goes up though

Many shitted on rivers for a while but he became a competent bench player

The 2012 draft after Drummond was terrible for the most part

Grizzlies surging and in the 8th spot right now. Pelicans in the 9th spot.

That Grizzlies pick is top 8 protected, so if we pass them, that pick goes to Boston and has a little less value than I think it might have in 2020 or 2021

Will (Almost) Definitely Lose Games:

Bucks, Portland, Rockets. Maybe the Kings 2x if they keep trying hard

Thats all I see. The rest of the schedule is pretty light. Gonna have to sit AD and hope Jrue has a "set back" or the Pels will win 6 or 7 more games and thats going to put them around 12.

We really need to lose to Phoenix this week. They’ve been playing well lately and Jrue probably won’t be back.

Kings lose! Puts Wizards at 28 wins and gives the Celtics another lotto pick for the AD sweepstakes.
