watching cuse against Duke and Barrett is super frustrating to watch. I know he's talented but gosh Zion & Ja and clearly ahead of everyone else

Agreed, I would not be upset landing the third spot tho for Barrett. Reddish on the other hand has a lot of work to do.

Shitbag Mavs lose another one in the last second falling 99-100 to the Nuggets.

We aren’t passing the Mavs they are in full on mega tank mode. It’s impressive

Talk shows are piling on this morning. Not sure who the leaks are coming from, but Buecher's story about Buss contemplating a Lebron trade as potentially being an option of getting rid of Rich Paul is hilarious.
That followed by a story where a bunch of anonymous GM's and owners saying they wouldn't trade for Lebron or would only give up a protected 1st.

the narrative that I've begun to see is that not many if any big named FA's want to go play with LeBron (outside of AD) because its a toxic environment around him. apparently KD used the word "toxic."
Posted on 3/15/19 at 10:24 am to DeionDeion
Yep. Some people are oordinating an attack on Lebron. Multiple stories that he and Klutch are toxic that if another star goes there and they lose, then Klutch/Lebron will throw them under the bus so one wants to play with him, the Lakers thought about trading him, but if they did they wouldn't get much for him.

quote:Amazingly only scored 10 points in the 4th. Cuban has them on obvious tank mode. Where is Silver on this obvious situation?

I don't think catching the Mavs is realistic, but I think the 7th is very much in play. I would bet today the Pels finish 7th or 8th. Only way they can get to 6 is if they lose out and schedule is too easy for that.
Those Mavs/Grizz games at the end of the year will be interesting. If Mavs are in full tank mode, those are two wins for the Grizz, giving them a good chance to jump us. Wiz are going for playoffs still. I think 7th is most likely, especially if we can find a way to lose Saturday

Grizz v Wizards is a big tank battle for us. Close in the 4th. Mavs should beat Cavs. Gonna be hard to pull off tank v Suns. Put AD back in.

If you hope for a loss every night you're going to be disappointed
They just lost 5 straight so they're going to win eventually

we're so close to 6, 7, 8 spots. losses are CRUCIAL at this point. that was such a clutch tank move by gentry and company

That might have been the greatest loss....EVER!

I just laughed at the end.
One thing I’ve noticed listening to post game shows etc is the difference in perspective from one STH to the next.
For me, I get to spend so much time at 32 with my parents at these games and also have something important to all of us that we share together. I treasure that time with them, and as my dad said, it would be hard to contrive a similar scenario.
For others, they go solely to support the team and watch them try to win basketball games. Some travel for an hour + from BR, Monroe, Lafayette etc and losses like this are devastating.
I only bring this up because it’s difficult for those on this site to sometimes wonder why people want to win these games. Every person’s experience varies from one to the next. So while I’m playing the long game and hoping we lose to be competitive in the future, I also realize i have something just as important that makes these games worth going to.
I don’t think I’ve seen a Technical for that reason in my entire team as a STH. I don’t know that I’ll ever see another one, much less one that actually decides the game.
To my fellow Pels brethren who spend their time and money to see the Pels win, just know that losing is very important with these new lottery odds. There is certainly a silver lining in defeats like tonight. Also remember we’re sitting our best player to rest him and only playing AD to avoid league wrath. I certainly don’t begrudge anyone the decision not to renew like the caller in post game. There’s hopefully a light at the end of the tunnel, and thanks for bringing the energy tonight. It was a great atmosphere all things considered.

I’m not moving Washington out of column one. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. I’ll easily take looking stupid/being wrong if it means WAS passes us.

There's solace in the fact the pels play to the wire and are never complete garbage like say the Knicks and the way the mavs have been playing
I can live with any result as long as they give a frick and arent folding like the above

I honestly think the best result is to lose very competitive games with the B team. Play hard, but just get outtalented.

Mavs nearly blew it but they hung on
Half game ahead of the pels
They play each other Monday
