Linda Ronstadt had better(professional) musicians, much tighter in live performances. That performance was really tight.
Fleetwood Mac was a band, more hit or miss, depending on mood swings, hangovers, whatever.
vote goes to Ronstadt, but I listened to Fleetwood Mac a whole lot more back then, as opposed to Ronstadt.

If that’s the Rhiannon performance, that’s one of her best live vocals.
She much have balanced the champagne and cocaine PERFECTLY at that moment. Probably a qualude too right before going on.

I’ve always thought Christine McVie has the most beautiful voice over Nicks or Ronstadt.

Per the performances, both are decent. However, Nicks isn’t in Ronstadt’s league as a vocalist. Ronstadt could shift gears, do rock, country, pop and even big band. Truly one of the greatest female vocalist of all time.
And BTW...I agree with the person who posted about McVie. Beautiful, strong voice and deep for a women. I never cared for the vibrato Nicks used.
