Saw this discussion earlier, which group is better?
I think in terms of individual talent, and if you account for the numerous solo albums, Wu Tang is better. However, looking only at a group dynamic, and not considering the solo albums, I do think Bone Thugs was a better group than Wu Tang. The phrase "the whole is greater than the some of it's parts" definitely applies to Bone. None of those guys were really much on their own, but as a group, they blended perfectly together.

I love Bone Thugs, but Wu-Tang is arguably tGOAT.

Yea Wu was a movement. Bone Thugs had some good music but the Wu are legendary for their influence on hip hop. Like mentioned above it's not even close.

Taking the time to say the new Wu Saga Continues is their best release in at least 10 years.
Great album.

Wu wins hands down..
But bone had some great speed rappers.
I think, at the time , wu-tang just had sooooo many members that every sound was heard. They definitely had more bass to their beats.
Also, call me crazy.. but I liked Do or Die better than bone thugs

I love BTNH and they are my favorite all time but even I recognize the WuTang is bigger than Bone. Now, I dont feel like anybody from WTC can touch Krayzie Bone though.

How is this a debate ? GZA alone is better than the entire Bone Thugs.

i don't disagree at all, ready my OP.
my argument in favor of Bone was to only consider the group dynamic, and the group albums, not all the solo work.
individually, none of the bone members can touch gza, method man or ghostface. however, as a group, the bone members turn into voltron or something.

Wu and I would never put these two in the same conversation. And I enjoy(ed) Bone
