Just seems beyond ridiculous.

I guess that explains the guys dressing in drag and the dude from KISS dressing like an adorable kitten but wtf was wrong with America that this ever became popular?

Fun fact: Dee Snider was the voice on MSNBC's sounders at one time.

This explained much of it.

So... which one of the hair bands was it that passed your girlfriend around the tour bus like a tray of hors d'oeuvres?

Guessing it was Vince or CC that railed her.

For the same reason that modern rap is a thing. Weak minded people will follow any gimmick fad that is laid in front of them.
80s hair bands, rap, and bro country have so many parallels it's scary.

You cannot put KISS in there along with Motley Crue and Twisted Sister. Not the same. Makeup 101.

Because beta male culture started well before the 2010s. The 80’s hair band scene was infested with just as many beta cucks as the 2010 SJWs. I know this will really offend the hardcore KISS and Bon Jovi fans that love to take it up the arse from their husband’s boyfriend on the regular, but it really was and is still is embarrassing for American culture to this day. And to think there’s grown men that still obsess and defend it. Sad.
Usually someone who talks like this is a closeted homosexual with Mommy issues. So yours got passed around on the Monsters of Rock tour, blame the eighties when fun was still allowed.

It’s his schtick. If I’m not mistaken banned from the Politics board for posting the same "beta soy cuck" thread over and over and over and over,

It's a horrible schtick. And completely off-base when it comes to the hair band scene. The glam metal dudes got more pussy than anyone.

Exactly. They dressed like that (and us Gen X teenagers copied it) because these kinds of girls liked it:

One of my best friends was in some big local metal bands throughout the ‘80s and ‘90s. It was unreal how much pussy those guys slayed. Girls were lining up to frick them. It was amazing.

See, Jews weren't allowed to be rock stars back then, so they had to disguise themselves as clowns.
Twisted Sister was sorta a self-aware parody act.

No doubt they did because it was the big thing and girls like to frick big things. But I just find it crazy that it ever was a big thing though

Women are attracted to glamour and power, but they also like romance. Hair metal provided all of those things back then. Hair metal was all about being a badass, having sex, and talking about romantic love, while also being fun and mostly danceable. Today's rock music isn't nearly as much about how awesome you are or how much sex you're having. There are occassionally good romantic ballads, but they're usually much sadder. It's almost never danceable, so those kinds of women don't flock to f&%k rock musicians any more.
Rap and hip/hop have cornered the market on music about how badass you are and how much sex you're having. Country music still does lots of danceable music and ballads about romance. So, most hot girls who are attracted to those things listen to hip hop or pop country.
