Alice in Chains Nutshell for me with Nirvana's cover of The Man Who Sold the World close behind it.

Good picks, though Kurt flubbing the beginning of the solo really irks me.

Lake of Fire in the Nirvana one is a goodun

Nirvana covering Leadbelly's 'In The Pines'. The haunted look in Kurt's eyes as he looks up to sing the final verse gives me chills to this day.
The Alice In Chains Unplugged is awesome too, I agree. Layne was barely keeping it together, which made it all the more riveting.
SRV going apeshit on an acoustic in one of the very first 'Unplugged's is utterly amazing too.

Alicia Keys-Diary
This performance was the genesis of my love affair with this woman. It started the flame of passion that still burns deep in my loins to this very day

I believe the famous acoustic Plush was on Headbangers Ball.
Where did you sleep last night.....hauntingly done by Cobain. He knew his time was nigh. Between a heroin habit and a crazy ho to deal with, it just got to be too much for Kurt.

This and "Would?" from the same set. Unbelievable performance and like someone said Layne is barely keeping it all together the whole time. You can see at times during the set that he is hurting deep inside (especially during "Would?").
Also read somewhere that Cantrell was worried that Layne would even show up to the show b/c they hadn't performed as a group in 3 years. You can see in Cantrell's face how amazed he is at how good Layne sounded

Anything off Nirvana's Unplugged album is gold. Favorites being Man who Sold the World, You Know You're Right, and Polly

Lenny Kravitz had a good unplugged set.

I've always liked the Oasis one where Noel had to sing lead, while Liam mocked him while getting hammered...
