I hate bro country
I hate this new blend of pop with EDM backings
I hate singers geared toward teenage girls (Ed Shearen, Sam Smith, Daughtry, etc.)

Everything else I will give it an honest chance to listen to

So what is a beat if it isn't music?

calling rap "not music" is hilarious. someone may not like it, but it's still music.

Popular country music. It's basically an amalgamation of all the worst shite the music industry has to offer. It's been getting worse and worse since the late 80s.

As far as country goes, I love William Elliott Whitmore, which isn't really classified as country, but I consider it pretty solid roots country. Probably my favorite of what I'd consider singer-songwriters. Put him on an old chair with a banjo or guitar and let him go.

Rap or Country. Not sure which is worse.

Rap is reveling in ignorance and slang in the afro american community

Country is reveling in ingnorance and slang in the anglo american community

Both are holding the blue collar societies back from producing good music. Whatever happened to the good ole R and B days when afro music was still good or the waylon jennings/merle haggard days when country music was good?

Both have gone to shite and are emblematic of uneducated trash.

Well yea

There are great alternative artists like him just like there are good alternative hip hop groups like getto boys

Just saying for the most part mainstream rap and country is ignorant garbage that is destroying our younger American generations. Europe laughs at our generations terrible tastes in music.

At least you're acknowledging country used to be good. Sometimes the hate for country music makes me wonder if anyone has ever taken the time to listen to it....because it was great. If yall are all referring to modern country, carry on.

Old blues vs old country were kind of one in the same...people from the country had the blues and blues came from people in the country.

You mean that you dont like it. Doesnt mean that people like steve earle or sturgill simpson are bad. You can respect something and not like it at the same time but doesnt make all alternative country musicians "bad" per se.
