Regardless of there being a good scream, that doesn't make up for the rest of that song. No way that Best of You is a "gem" for the Foo Fighters.

I figured they must have some choice nugs that maybe I haven't heard or something that bigger fans would know. Not that garbage

Lol wat?

I just wanted to know who DosManos liked since he hated the Foos so much.

I like Foo Fighters, but mainly their earlier stuff amd Wasting Light.

I can see why people don't though. Some of their songs can sound extremely generic and manufactured.

is it more hipster to hate the foo fighters or more hipster to like them because most people dislike them?

Loaded question.

Depends on the company at the time of the discussion.

If I'm with a bunch of jambland darshes I'll probably pretend to like Foo Fighters to seem like I have some inside track on music that they would never be able to understand.

At Radio Bar, I'd probably scoff at Foo Fighters and call them an abomination and the brain child of the capitalist rape machine.

Foo fighters > arcade fire

I mean Dave Lohl is kind of overrated but the band is legit and Hawkins rocks out

I took it upon myself to start listening to Arcade Fire because of you Dan, and I'm impressed...I slept on them awhile back because they seemed too pretentious for me. But since I've become the pretentious a-hole you see now, my body is ready for AF

See I don't understand how anyone on here that says they like good music wouldn't like AF.

Never understood that

That's one band I will talk up to anyone. My big brother is a pretty straight edge dude and he likes them, so it's hard to believe someone like Eddie wouldn't like them.

probably the best song FF ever recorded: february stars

the build up is pretty good

even still, they were never some great band but probably the best "mainstream rock band" currently.

I started basic with Funeral, and man what a great album...it's just this wall of sound that is so intricate. Slightly morose, but almost subtly optimistic
