I saw

Gary Clark Jr
Houndmouth
The Arcs
Glass Animals
The Wood Brothers
Chris Stapleton
JJ Grey and Mofro
Whitey Morgan and the 78s

The Wood Brothers probably put on the most technically sound, talented show. They sounded amazing in a simplistic, stripped down way.

Glass Animals was the most fun. Straight dance party in the whole building.

I got the most drunk at Whitey Morgan.

Also saw ZOSO twice. Don't know if that counts.

I saw 40 or 50 shows.....Hard to list them late on Christmas Eve.....Most memorable?.....Probably Charlie Crockett when he put together a good band and had a big sound going.....I had seen him do solo shows and shows where the band was still learning the songs ....Other great shows were Telekinesis, The Weaves, gotta through Shinyribs in there. And Legendary Pink Dots were great....Old band.....I've seen them twice before.....But they were doing old stuff this tour in small venues.

Atlanta -- January and February
Lamb Of God / Anthrax / Deafheaven (missed them)
Black Tusk / Royal Thunder
Wilco
Cannibal Corpse / Obituary / Cryptopsy
Pallbearer
Testament / Carcass
Crowbar (April)

The Black Dahlia Murder / Fallujah -- Spartanburg, SC, April
Drivin n' Cryin -- Atlanta, July
Slayer / Anthrax / Death Angel -- Indianapolis, September
All Them Witches -- Atlanta, September
Helmet -- Jacksonville, November

Had ticket for Clutch in Orlando but a perfect shitstorm popped up and prevented that one for me. Also had plans to see Crowbar again here in Jax but it was just one day before Hurricane Matthew came through and it got cancelled. Outer bands of the storm were already hitting in fact.

All in all though, pretty damn satisfied.

ETA: Forgot about and just added Wilco

The days of 40-50 shows a year are over for me, lol...

This was it for me in 2016:

Phish
Boston
Trans Siberian Orchestra

Would've seen AC/DC, but they cancelled the night before the show, so I opted for a refund instead of seeing Axl scabbing for them later on...
