I can't keep up with bands these days - they have so many one hit wonders and pretty much all sound like recycled crap. I gave up on modern rock when Nickelback/Staind/Kid Rock all got big.

Edit - yes, I'm old; get off my lawn.

You should go to the help board and ask them to start a music board.

I really think there's enough support for this, and you can be the originator.

You'll become a legend of TD.

I have cousins who love Kid Rock.

They went on his cruise two years in a row.

I was like you. Only listened to old blues. Thought everything today sucked. But you gotta look around. They have some awesome bands out there. I would recommend spotify. Find a band you like and click on related artists. It's will lead you to some other stuff.

I think most any radio rock band would. Great publicity if they don't suck unplugged. I miss Breaking Benjamin because of their great acoustic sets. I have a ton of respect for any band that can take their music and break it down into acoustics and make it sound good:

Or how a metal band can take this:

and make it this:
LINK and it's fricking awesome

I think they did some a few years back. There is one online with silversun pickups.

Plenty of bands still do acoustic shows. Not typically on MTV, though.
