Millennials would now be between 23 and 38. Its stupid to lump this age range together. The older ones grew up before high speed Internet and smart phones. The cutoff point should be 1990 or 1992.

As an older millennial my best guess would be Metallica.

They are legendary for a reason we won’t havee any other legendary rock bands for at least 8-10 years
King gizzard are pretty popular but they make trash music so they won’t be remembered 5 years from now

Why do you old people need to identify with a band? Seems sad.

There’s really not anything. Everything is pop and rap. If I had to guess it is (was) Eminem

I’m an older millenial- came to age in the 2000s. Everything was trending rap and pop, and it wasn’t my cup of tea. So I don’t know the answer to this. Here’s some options, some are serious some are not.

Pearl Jam, Metallica, Garth,
Creed, killers, black eyed peas, justin, kelly clarkson, Dave Matthews, Eminem, Afroman,

Based on talent or popularity?

The 30+ millennials still flock to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters concerts in droves, if we are talking about popularity.

Pearl Jam, Metallica,

I am 46. Pearl Jam was at their peak as a pop culture (NOT Pop) band in 1992-93 When I was 19-20.

They, and Metallica are too old. MEtallica also had 2 lives. The Kill Em All "fastest band at the time" stage, and then the Black Album stage. Which was the same time that Seattle exploded. Kill Em All was 1983?

Based on the responses in here, the answer is clear.....music has changed to the point where they'll be no more legends. There will only be people/bands that were popular a little longer than others, but none that deserve to be remembered or revered 20 years later.
