Been on a big Ryan Adams kick since I saw his concert

Here are my favorites:

Dirty Rain

Let It Ride

This House Is Not For Sale

Save the Bryan Adams jokes, they aren't funny and Bryan Adams sucks anyway

When You're Young You Get High is his only good song

Also, can we cool it with the singer-songwriter threads? What a boring arse genre.

To each their own, but you didn't list 3 songs.

I remember reading something a few years ago where he would get so fed up because at like every other show someone would yell out "summer of 69!" and he'd be like that's bryan adams you idiot.

I think he's mellowed a little bit.

Yeah, it used to melt him good and he stomp off stage occasionally. But her got sober and he's been a lot less cantankerous since sobering up and kicking the heroin.

He and Bryan Adams are like buddies now as well.

Half of his problem was that he has Meniere's disease, and he self-medicated to deal with that. He's since learned some ways to keep it under control that don't require massive doses of opiates.

I like Ryan Adams quite a bit, but I confess that after Heartbreaker, Gold, and Rock and Roll are pretty much his best stuff. I don't really get into his deep tracks. Oh... and Whiskeytown. Love pretty much all of Whiskeytown.

Oh. Some of my favorite RA videos are this series of acoustics he did in Jamaica. They're pretty outstanding. It's called "Music in High Places"

Here's New York, New York.
