The Baton Rouge River Center will be enforcing strict no alcohol and no tobacco policies as well as no re-entry at any time and no admittance after 10 p.m. policies.

I just think the premise of the Students on Target is stupid...If you are of legal age, and want to booze on campus, while listening to a band sing their songs "uncensored", I don't see a problem here with that

It absolutely is, but it's not their decision. That comes straight from the LSU administration who are straight up nazis when it comes to this stuff. They hate LSU's reputation as a party school and do whatever possible to avoid situations that could possibly confirm this perception and actively punish those who embody it. They even go so far as monitoring facebook pages of student organizations and groups to catch underage drinking or drug use.

Honestly, the censoring of artists is a lot more troubling to me that the celebration of sobriety.
Its a frickin college campus for christs sake, not a pre school.
I thought about making a shirt that said 'frick censorship' on it.

As a former LSU fratdog, I can confirm this to be true.

Doesn't Tulane's Crawfest allow alcohol? I've never been but I think they do. If so that is embarrassing to LSU. Crawfest also has a much h3ttier lineup, although Weezer is a great pull.

I don't know what that is. But they "didn't allow alcohol" at the only Tulane event I went to (Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. concert), but everyone was drinking and smoking pretty blatantly.
And yeah, Weezer is a solid pull.
Not to mention, Sinbad emceeing that shite

I have no idea. Lettuce is all instrumental and Benevento is too for the most part.

Tulane sucks otherwise. I hate Tulane figs.

I think LSU and BR need to get with times.
It's sad that the biggest music event that BR pulls in is the fricking Bayou Cuntry Circle Jerk. Then LSU goes and has a big concert, but tells their students to behave (regardless of age) and tells their performers to clean up their act or get the boot.
All the while, major universities around the countries are pulling in stuff like this biannually, allowing adults to consume beverages if they like, and getting acts that have a more youthful, college type following

This is a really good point. I think they are really trying to make this thing too G-rated...and for what???
They don't only sell beer at the Superfest, they sell liquor too!
