Underrated Grateful Dead songs

I never really see Here Comes Sunshine mentioned and the Dick's Picks Vol. 1 version is one of my favorite Dead songs

Two great jerry ballads that came later in his career.

I saw phil last month with john scofield and john medeski and they opened with built to last and it was pretty awesome.

I would say Sugaree is a top 10 dead song. Was my favorite for a long time.

I was at a Gov't Mule show in '07 and Bob Weir came out. There was a group of clean cut older guys (probably late 40s) who started going nuts when he got on stage. First song they played was Sugaree and right when the first notes were played these guys lost it. They went completely insane, jumping up and down, hugging each other, high fiving,etc. It was by far the most I've seen anyone react to a song. Pretty cool, you could tell they were an old group of friends who were beyond stoked to relive their glory days with the Grateful Dead.

Keep in mind this was before Furthur came to frution.

That Mule show was sick. John Paul Jones also came on stage and they played outstanding versions of Moby Dick, Since I've Been Loving You, and No Quarter.
