Your top are some of my favorites. Saw Jinks in BR and was supposed to see Childers this weekend in Charlotte but can't make it. Sturgill, Willie Nelson, Old Crow are playing in Charlotte in June and I'm trying to get to that. I'm going to check out The Delondes and Devil Makes Three

Robbie Fulks. Great songwriter and guitarist.
Here's where I post Parallel Bars because I love Kelly Willis.

I love the deslondes. I don’t get why they’re not talked about more here seeing as they are a NOLA based band. Saw them at Callaghans last year and it was awesome.

So do I.
Its like Fulks discovered a lost treasure trove of classic country songs from 50 years ago. And he can play the shite out of a guitar.

She played here not that long ago. Got a pic with her. Poor girl had to sell her own merchandise.

Yeah, I saw a while back she was going to appear at Spirits. That was a couple of years ago. Pretty good show?

She was really great. Unfortunately, there was a group in the high top area having their own little party as if the concert was not even taking place.

im not sure about current music, but I think Jerry Reed is a severely underrated musician. Dude could rival Chet on the guitar and had a great voice. Probably one of the greatest all around talents in the history of American entertainment.

Huge fan of Blue Mother Tupelo. A singer/song writing duo that has been grinding it out in Nashville for a couple of decades...

I will also add...even though they aren't together anymore...The Everybodyfields
The Everybodyfields - "By Your Side"
The Everybodyfields - "Worth Keeping"
The Everybodyfields - "TVA"
Jill Andrews of The Everybodyfields has had some solo success since then...but together, the stuff she and Sam Quinn cranked out was pretty awesome.

Just thought of another one: 18 South. I saw them at Telluride Bluegrass one year and really liked them. They have more of a honky tonk feel than bluegrass or country.

Tickets for childers sold out in Dallas in like 10 minutes.
I did not get one because I thought no one would even know who he was. Pretty butthurt still.

Will second Jason Eady. Daylight and Dark is a CLASSIC country album.
Will also second Billy Strings. I saw this dude at a festival, and he killed it. Going to be a big star in Bluegrass.
Others I like who I consider underrated:
Robert Ellis
Lydia Loveless
Jamie Lin Wilson
John Fullbright
Kacey and Clayton

Started with Jinks, Sturgil, Isbell, moved to Steeldrivers and Childers, then Justin Townes Earl, Wrinkle Neck Mules, Colter Wall. Since starting this thread, I've liked The Fox Hunt, .357 String Band, The Devil Makes Three. And am still looking up the other recs
