Produced by Shooter Jennings. First single officially streaming on 5/5. New piece in the Rolling Stone that I have yet to read:

Is that supposed to be a burn on Turnpike? Somehow?

No, it's more of his idiotic act he plays on these boards.

Have seen them several times. Hope they come back to BR soon. I would rather not go to New Orleans. They have played at the HOBs a few times.

Idk they’re probably gonna want like 50 bucks now

Did the lead singer dry out?

They just sold out the American Airlines Center in Dallas where the Mavs & Stars play a few months ago. I had no idea they were this big now.

Only way they’ll come to our shithole state is for a festival. Best we can hope for is Hogs for the Cause.

Well, it depends. In certain markets they are. They tried to book an arena in DC and had to cancel (allegedly due to sales). Where that leaves other markets, I don’t know. But you won’t be seeing them at Chelsea’s or The Varsity anymore. They’ll just skip Louisiana.

That ain’t happening either. Music guy said TT way out of Hogs price range now. But that Hogs when they had Tyler Childers followed by TT was incredible.

lamar dixon would be the most ideal spot for them at this point tbh. capacity wise they could bring in 3000+ people IMO

they are. but like my last post, lamar dixon is the ideal spot for them for a "baton rouge" show. they could packed that place out. I want to say that max cap there is 5k.

My guess is if they come to New Orleans, it will either be the Saengar (2,600 capacity) or the Filmore (2,000 capacity). They could probably do 2 shows at either in a weekend.

They could maybe try UNO Lakefront Arena (10,000 capacity).

Smoothie King Center is likely too big unless they perform with another larger act.

Why’d they get famous now if their old stuff is way better than what they put out today? Is it because of the Miranda lambert thing?

This reminds me of how Tyler childers made like 3 good songs in 2017 and did nothing else and is now huge

Absence makes the heart grow fonder?

They haven't released an album since 2017 and hadn't been touring since 2019.

I think there’s some inorganic push to make guys like turnpike, Cody jinks, Childers etc big

I’m not sure if it’s Nashville since none of them make albums anymore. It’s probably Ticketmaster since they went from being 10 bucks at the varsity to $50 + $20 in fees

As a true music fan I hate to see it because I don’t like to have to go to the river center and pay big money to sit 1000 yards away from the stage and drink mich ultras with the normies

ETA: or it could be nashville since he had to bang gross Miranda lambert and then got big

Really digging the new song drop today. Good mix of vocals and fiddle which has always been one of my favorite parts of their sound. Really really looking forward to a new album
