One of the guys said they needed ~3,000 sold to make it worthwhile. There were what, 500 there?

If true, the expenses were already made. Venue, security, setup, etc. Costs incurred, The stage, lights, etc. we’re ready to go.

All that was missing was for the band to get up on stage and play. That costs nothing but their time. If they didn’t care enough to give that time to the fans who cared enough to pay and show up, well shame on their dumb asses.

If the band is pissed about the people who didn’t show up, don’t punish the actual fans who did show up. That’s a good way to lose them too.

My thoughts as well. I can kind of understand cancelling due to slow sales a week or so in advance...but an hour after showtime? I'm not buying it.

They cancelled Corpus tonight as well.

I don't know what's going on but there's more to it than ticket sales

Someone explain why you would cancel last minute due to low sales.

my thinking would be, the band is promised X amount by promotor to play show. Promotor doesn't tell band of lack of sales hoping that band will accept less money at the last minute due to already being there and not wanting to seem like the "bad guy" for canceling last minute, So it would be up to the band to call the promotors bluff?

Does this sound about right?

That was what the speculation was last night.

But they cancelled tonight as well so something more is going on with the band

Someone posted on their Facebook that one of the acts at the Corpus show said that TT could not make it and to keep them in your prayers. So maybe there is an issue beyond low sales.

I have tickets and a hotel room for the Charlotte show in a few weeks. There are rumors on the web saying Evan has shown up sloppy and is screwing up lyrics, etc to some shows in the past year. I’m hoping this is not the truth! I’m really looking forward to this show.

This sucks so bad. Got a really bad feeling about this. So much spotlight and drama for Evan Felker this year....

Sounds like they’ll be taking a break for a while.

It's ironic that they wrote a song about Shreveport AND Bossier City and that this is the place where everything came to a head. It seems like they will always have a connection to this area.

If it's a 30 day break, it sounds like a rehab stint. Hopefully, all goes well and they can pick up the pieces.

Not trying to be dramatic, but I'm just glad Felker isn't dead. I have no idea if he OD'd or just got too hammered or whatever....but the total silence was very alarming and disheartening.

Hope they get their shite straight.
