They hit Bossier City on Friday Oct. 26 at Centurylink Center. 7:30. Opener is Stoney Larue.

They set the stage up near and facing the back of the arena, so they play to just the horseshoe-shaped "end zone" area. Until I figured that out, the tickets coming up on Ticketmaster as "best" were confusing.

Also...I saw something where you don't have to go through ticketmaster yesterday-you could go directly through their website and not pay the fees and such.

If you're in the area and on the fence about going, get off the fence and definitely go.

I went to the arena one morning. Was the only person there. Got to avoid some but not all fees.

I just got an email that they slashed prices on tickets to $14.95. A little upset about that since I paid $35+ fees, but I ain't worried about it. They out on a hell of a show.

I have never been to a show at CenturyLink with this configuration, but a small "amplitheater" style set up should suite this band perfect.

Love them both. This seems like something that would be at The Stage.

So if anyone has any suggestion as to what to do around here that doesn't involve a casino I'm all ears

Well, that sucked. All the equipment was there. Merch was there. Cops told me they did sound checks. Then boom. Cancelled. No reason given in the announcement.

Some folks were speculating they cancelled due to low ticket sales. Crowd was thin, but that is very chickenshit if that’s the reason. The people who showed up are the few fans you have, so don’t lose them.

Singer allegedly had a kidney stone and cancelled some August shows. We’ll see what they say for this.

Someone on the Facebook page put a pic of Evan at the hotel up. Shitty they didn't show up.

They knew what ticket sales were days ago...don't cancel 45 minutes after the fricking show was supposed to start.

They put up something about the corpus show 15 or so minutes before they cancelled. It was ticket sales plain and simple.

If so, they better come up with a convincing lie that fools me, or they can kiss my arse. And I only drove 10 minutes to get there. No big deal.

But the fans who travelled and paid for hotel rooms were really shafted. There are at least a few of them posting on social media.

We talked to a couple of employees while we were waiting on my buddy's wife to pick us up. According to them it was down to sales. One of the guys said they needed ~3,000 sold to make it worthwhile. There were what, 500 there? Even then though, they knew this shite wasn't selling out days ago when they cut prices, why wait until 45 minutes after it was supposed to start? QOTSA didn't sell shite for seats in Municipal and they still brought the fricking house down.

They booked way too big of a venue. Randy Rogers is probably a bigger draw around here and he still plays at the Stage. They should have been there or Municipal.
