I was getting ready to head to the show at White Oak when I got a text from a friend who works at the venue that said Evan Felker was MIA. It really sucks, he’s a very talented songwriter. I hope he gets his life straightened out.

Hopefully this shite is close to rock bottom. Video from a few weeks ago. Evan fricked up out of his mind slurring, forgetting words, leaves stage and comes back sans guitar and looks like he just crushed a crack pipe.

Hopefully this is being responsible and letting their lead singer pull it together.
Better to cancel shows and take care of someone's health and life. It would be tragic trying to string out a tour and risking a true tragic end.

They need to call it as a band, he’s not worth it. They are so damn good, but this sounds like it’s over.
I’ve got tickets for Red Rocks in 3 weeks, but I know about a 75% chance it never happens.

Felker is awesome but yeah. Without looking I'd bet they've cancelled more shows than they played since the Bossier show.

I think chances are much higher that's not happening. He needs time off and I hope he gets help.

Their management kept booking shows instead of putting their foot down and addressing the problem. I can’t tell if it’s greed or delusion.
