Shows are booked well over a year in advance, so it's not like they're booking shows while a member of their family is in a spiral. Just because they announced a show on Tuesday doesnt mean they booked it on Monday. If the band wants the show to go on then, ultimately, it will.

I don’t think anyone’s blaming them but they are in the list of fail safes that will hopefully (but rarely do) get guys off the road. Clearly (or hopefully) not their fault that the problem shows up on their doorstep but they can strongly push for cancellations and if denied they can bail on the artist. It’s a messy complicated situation though.

Well, there are plenty of posts in this very thread that blame management outright.

I don't want to share too much because it's not my place, but know that the mgmt considers these guys family. It's not just a working relationship, it's a personal one. They would never put lives in danger (especially the lives of those they care deeply about) just to make a buck.

Maybe the personal relationship clouds the professional one?

This is what happens when your band/genre is based off alcohol.

Meh not really. Country at it's core is the white mans blues. Most of the guys that are talented and really tap into that emotion have some demons, but that's part of there genius if you will.

I see far fewer "bro country" artists that only sing about drinking beer and partying have major issues.

"Insiders" on other sites indicate Evan isn't going to rehab but instead just quit the band and wants out. Well, to be clear, they're not definitively saying he's not going to rehab, just that it wasn't a "I need to go to rehab so we should go on hiatus" thing.

The vibe on the fan sites is definitely that the band is more or less over at this point. Of course, with the problem likely stemming from one person who is battling addiction/other issues, I'd think the finality of that could change if his situation improves. Hope it does.
