Turnpike summer tour

Just wanted to give a thumbs up to turnpike troubadors summer tour. Great set, energy, did a 23 song set so played most of favourites. Venue was great too, art park on banks of niagara r, weather perfect too. Will definitely see them again. Glad they came to the northeast.

Their sound was disappointing at the River Center but I’d go see them again. They need a new sound guy.

Agree. Saw them in North Little Rock a couple years ago. Avett Brothers opened and were crystal clear. Turnpike you could barely understand. Worst sound I’ve heard at a concert in decades.

It was better at the wharf this year than the last one a few years back. Some of it is Evan’s voice isn’t very strong. That coupled the crowd singing along to every song makes it sound worse I think.
