Triumph question thoughts

Underrated band.
What are your favorite Triumph songs?
Me:
1. Magic Power
2. Somebody’s Out There
3. Say Goodbye
4. Fight the Good Fight
You can really sense the influence of Rush. Listen to Fight the Good Fight and you can picture Geddy L. on vocals and Neal P. on drums.
Some songs even have an AC/DC influence to them.
Edit: their version of Rocky Mountain Way is very good.

I don't get a Rush influence from them. To me, they were a prototypical heavy metal/hair metal band.

Lay it on the line! In my opinion, most 80s rock ‘n’ roll is pretty terrible but triumph definitely had some good music

I just finished ripping the 2010 Remix of their greatest hits off of Qobuz mainly for Magic Power. The original recording from 1981 was a bit weak.
In the process I discovered this tribute CD that came out last year
Joey Belladonna from Anthrax does a fantastic job with Magic Power

Hold On was a solid tune that hasn’t been listed to this point.

Like them. Emmett is a monster guitar player who doesn't get enough respect. Not mentioned yet:
Spellbound
Tears In The Rain
On And On
Never Say Never
Midsummer's Daydream (Emmett acoustic solo piece)

Maybe you'll get lucky and they'll play "I Like To Rock."
Or that Dianne Sawyer song.
Seriously, "Fight the Good Fight" is incredible. I can hear the Rush influence with the track length and the progressive tendencies.
