He started out in bluegrass. Check out New Grass Revival. Also, there's one album by a bluegrass super group called Strength in Numbers. Members include Fleck, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Mark O'Connor and Edgar Meyer.

I just watched him at a bluegrass festival or I probably wouldn't have included him but I figure if you can headline yonder's harvest fest you're bluegrass enough.
