20% of the list is The Beatles lol

And that's not enough! A Day in the Life and Something should be on the list too!

If "Layla" isn't on the list, it's not a good list.

“Gimmie Shelter” The Rolling Stones is a top 10 of all time on almost every list.

Tom Sawyer, though personally not a Rush fan

Most songs that would comprise a generalized list like this go in one ear and out the other for me. I can't imagine anybody hearing "Be My Baby" in 2021 and having their minds blown. It's absurd and complete folly to even bother with this.

That list looks like it would come from a Rolling Stone article which has been heavily criticized in the past for not including other genres.

Missing:

Pink Floyd - The Wall (and several others)
Led Zeppelin - Kashmir (and several others)
Rod Stewart - Maggie May
Three Dog Night - Joy to the World
Black Sabbath - Paranoid, Iron Man
Rush - Tom Sawyer, Working Man
The Knack - My Shirona
Styx - Blue Collar Man
Simon & Garfunkel - Sound of Silence
Otis Redding - all of them
The Platters - Only You, Twighlight Time, The Great Pretender
Sam Cook - A change is gonna come
Ray Charles - Hit the road jack
Stevie Wonder - Superstitious
Several artists - Ghost Rider's in the Sky

I could go on, but I gotta go to bed now.

List needs surgery.

Rest of the list aside I’ll never understand how bohemian rhapsody isn’t utter garbage to people. People like it more or less as a meme

I usually try not to even click whenever there is a 'best of' or 'top of' anything, because it is usually total shite.
For example, the other day, a 'Top 100 bands of all time' list popped up on some site...needless to say, the list was a joke. But no two people are likely to come close to an agreement on best of anything. I am sure I am older than 90 % of those on this site, so I have the advantage of seeing a band's growth, in some cases over 50 years. But that still doesn't mean anyone today will not laugh at my list as well.
All I do is try to expose younger listeners to a wide range of music from every decade...or as I tell people, "Expand your musical horizons"...as most great music is never heard on the radio and that is especially true over the past few decades!
