She's one of those anti pop, pop artists like Lorde. Her most popular songs aren't her best songs or at least don't show her full talent. Basically her and her brother have been making shite in their house since she was 14 and she's a breath of fresh air when compared to all the generic pop artists we've gotten over the past decade.

Her performance on The Howard Stern Show caught me by surprise because I didn't realize how good her voice actually was

She and her brother are fantastic songwriters.

Listen to "when the party's over," "Ocean Eyes," "idontwannabeyouanymore" for examples of how she can really sing and then just branch out from there.

Not to be that guy but she is all hype, I’ve heard a good majority of her stuff and nothing is above average. Ariana and Lana are easily better pure artists than her

Lorde and Gotye came out in the same year and she has went on to moderate stardom while Gotye was merely a one hit wonder.

She is the mumble singer for the mumble rap generation. Sad thing is she actually has talent and a set of pipes, but is stuck in a mumbling rut.

I couldn’t understand shite for that Grammy performance, mumble singing doesn’t do it for me.

Took my daughter to see her. The energy of her fan base is unlike anything else, today. There is a reason many of the more seasoned artists, like Dave Grohl and Thom Yorke, have taken notice, and are in her corner for carving a new style of music.

Okay, I can't freaking stand her when they play her on the radio but that Howard Stern performance was amazing

You could make the argument about Lana but not Ariana. You have to remember her 1st album was recorded when she was 13-14 years old. I don't like the songs they play of her on the radio but her other songs that are not as popular are really good and pretty amazing considering her age. I have said it before she will end up as the most popular female recording artist of all time.

She is pretty good. My daughter is a fan and I end up having to listen to her a lot, and I enjoy a good deal of it. Certainly more than the Harry Styles she's always listening to.

I don’t know a single song she sings but she looks like one of those pretentious assholes who takes herself way too seriously.

She sucks. Bring back REAL music to these curdled cheese tripe award shows.

That was really good. I guess some in this thread did not play that Stern performance or have shite taste in music.

I'm from the 90's so I don't get it. I predict in 30 years people won't still be listening to this music like Oasis, Nirvana, etc that never won any Grammys.

Oasis and Nirvana should never be mentioned in the same light.
