She’s a 20 yo pop artist, I’m a guy that used to listen to the Beatles on a transistor radio in the 60s as a little kid. It’s really not surprising that her music doesn’t tick any boxes for me. My generation had their time, and we didn’t want what came before. No reason to expect her generation to be any different. To quote Steely Dan:

“The time of our time has come and gone.”

Thanks,

She was definitely much ado about nothing at all.

(15 minutes in is all I can take.)

The girls and women in the audience were singing along and screaming like it was Elvis or the Beatles or Slim Whitman up there.

She’s not my cup of tea, but women obviously love her.

Halsey, if I have to listen to modern pop, is my preference. Saw her on SNL and enjoyed it.

It W’s amazing how the goes in thACL audience knew every single word to every song.

She’s not my cup of tea, but I can’t deny
That she has something. She has talent and can put on a show that holds an audience for a full 90 minute set. The performance I saw of her
The performance I saw with her singing, accompanied only by pianos was impressive.
She had a voice with range. She shouuld use it more.
