Stumbled onto this band during a female singers video.

Are they considered good? What's the board's opinion of the singer? What songs are considered their best or most popular?

I kind of like their style of music.

I thoroughly enjoy them. Their second albums is probably my least favorite of the three, but it is still pretty good. I love Lzzy's voice. I don't think anyone here would say they are the greatest ever or anything, but they are solid IMO.

Couple of my favorite songs are Love Bites, Mz Hyde, I Miss the Misery, Rock Show, The Reckoning. All have a little different sound, and do a good job showing Lzzy's range of her actual singing voice and her rock voice.

They do a really fun live show and sound just as good live as they do on the album, which is rare these days.

ETA: Plus, who doesn't love a woman that can rock a double neck?

I like Halestorm. Into The Wild Life is my favorite album, their newest one is really good as well. They have a lot of classic rock roots, that's what I like about them. I enjoy blasting them on my drive home from work. My daughter loves the song Rock Show.

IMO, they are definitely one of the better bands out there today.

I liked Lzzy's 2017 ESPN College Game Day "Coming to your City" better than the blonde in 2018

Their first release is still their best.
But all since then are really good................should be getting more recognition but nothing gets any hype beside rap.

I will never know why.

I've seen Halestorm live a few times but never really listened to their stuff. They're just okay to me.

Lzzy is a great vocalist, but I hate the way she spells her name. She shows off her pipes live actually too much - as in songs drag on way too long so she can scream. The vocal talent is unreal but she insists upon herself in concert. The drummer is talented but is also kind of a tool and attention whore.

All things considered, they're a good time and one of the better popular rock acts going now. Just my pet peeves and not quite my thing.

Saw them live about a week after The Strange Case Of... came out. High energy, but they have evolved since then. On debut they were just a hard rock band. Went heavier on TSCO. Diversified on Into the Wild Life. Seem to have found a middle ground on Vicious. It’s Not You is probably still my favorite, though I Am the Fire is up there too. Lzzy is one of the most talented singers around. Just look up her singing Janis Joplin. She sang Whole Lotta Love at one point too.

Thanks for all of the input. I don't know how I had not heard of them before now.

Been going down the rabbit hole watching their videos on youtube for the last few days.

Yep. When I saw them in concert, they did a cover of Dio - Straight Through the Heart. It was phenomenal.

That concert was them and The Pretty Reckless. That was a badass doubleheader.

Never purchased an album, but dig the band. Carrying the torch for regular ol mainstream American hard rock when not to many others even try.
