I've got mine: a red Fender Strat.

Although a Flying V would be nice.

Always wanted a 1970s Gibson Les Paul, goldtop or cherry sunburst with mini humbucker pickups. For a long time no one wanted them, now are considered vintage and the price reflects it. Wish I had bought one when they were cheap to have along with my 77 Stratocaster I bought in 1979.

I'm currently gassing hard on a fender american original 60 tele with the double bound body. I can't decide between Pelham blue or Fiesta Red.

I'll make it easy for you. Pelham Blue is only offered by Gibson. Fender's closest equivalent off the top of my head is Ice Blue Metallic, which I don't think was offered in the era in which you seek a RI. Here's an extensive Fender Guitars color chart. Here's a VG article on Fender's custom colors in the 1960s.

Here's some eye candy for you ... an all-original 1958 Telecaster Custom, brought in last month by its original owner for VERY DELICATE restoration work to its nut, specifically, the gentle and invisible rebuilding of four excessively worn nut slots.

I have an American Deluxe Strat. I also have a Westerly Guild D-35.

I'd like a Westerly Guild D-55 or F-50R and, maybe, a Martin D-28.

Of course, I'd also like a Les Paul.

This was mine until I got hold of a OOO-28EC. Something about the fit and feel of that guitar. Like a strip club in my 20's. Had me wanting to reach for a credit card.

Crazy story you might enjoy that actually ties up both ends of your post. I have a buddy who is blind from birth - he initially had some light perception, but now I think that's even gone. He makes mental maps of an area and gets around extraordinarily well. He has a Martin 00 or 000, probably a 28. He does acoustic covers where he sings and accompanies himself on guitar.

To hear him tell it - it is the most natural thing in the world: "In college, you guys could work at Wal-Mart or McDonald's. I couldn't do that, but I could sit in a bar, sing and play the guitar for money, and drink, essentially, for free." He has a pretty decent repertoire.

And he also says, "You haven't lived until you've gone to a strip club with a blind man." Apparently they make exceptions to rules so he can enjoy the show.

That tele is beautiful btw. I have an american professional tele in mystic seafoam.

I used to want my guitars all pristine, no scratches, etc. Now I love reliced guitars. I would love to have one.

I play a mexican tele these days mostly. I love the tone with my red knob twin or blues junior.

I'd like to try a strat.

Used to be all into Gibson and love their necks but tonally the single coil seems to be more my thing. I play a fair amount of gigs and prefer having something I'm not too worried about.

I have most of mine already. At this point one of my last remaining wants is a 6 string Rick 360.
