“Southern Cross” is still an amazing song

Despite all the craziness of the last two weeks I’ll still play this song at least twice a week. A true sailors song
Got out of town on a boat

Off the wind on this heading

Definitely my favorite CSN song.. only really discovered it in recent years, it really spoke to me when i was going thru the end of a relationship.. i like how it intertwines the nautical theme with the themes of lost love.. the Jimmy Buffet version sucks though .

Wait, you think Jimmy freaking Buffet stole something from Crosby Stills and Nash ?? Come on, that’s just….. laughable, in any context…… and im someone who used to think Jimmy Buffet was okay, even had the box set of Beaches, Ballads, Boats and whatever it was called …but he isnt in CSN’s league, musically-speaking .

i don't know if they are or not, but i know when i was in HS, they were awesome... that was many moons ago, and some of the original members have passed away, but they used to be fun to go and watch/hear
