quote:quote:Queen released the song “Sheer Heart Attack” on the “News of the World” album. A full three albums after the album named “Sheer Heart Attack”.
Led Zeppelin took it to a whole new level releasing the album "Houses of the Holy" with no song by that title and no reference in any of the lyrics then releasing the double album "Physical Graffiti" with the song "Houses of the Holy" on it.

Dire Straits-Skate Away (Making Movies)
Neil Young-either My, My, Hey, Hey or Hey, Hey, My, My (Rust Never Sleeps)--He fricking changed the lyrics just enough between the two to where one is an exact quote and one is a little off but I can never remember which is which.
Also along the lines of the Led Zeppelin and Queen references, Waiting for the Sun by The Doors is not on their Waiting for the Sun album but instead is on Morrison Hotel.

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones first album had no title, and the songs are all instrumental (no lyrics). I think that should count.

These two readily come to mind from DMB, not as intimately familiar with album titles of too many beyond them:
DMB - Ants Marching "....playing Under the Table and Dreaming"
DMB - The Dreaming Tree "...long Before These Crowded Streets....."
Could be others but these came to mind first. I feel like it's fairly common but probably nowhere close to just having an album name match a track therein.

Elvis Costello has done it on several albums:
"Allison" - My Aim Is True
"(I Don't Want to Go to) Chelsea" - This Year's Model (UK version)
"Crawling To The USA" - Taking Liberties
"The Greatest Thing" - Punch The Clock
"Uncomplicated" - Blood And Chocolate
And those are just the ones off the top of my head.
