For any reason
Like Social Media, in a Movie or a Commercial, Remake etc…
Kate Bush- Running Up That Hill- from Stranger Things
One of my favorite songs growing up
Most people have never heard the song or Kate Bush but now because of Stranger Things I skip it when it comes on.

Fleetwood Mac- Silver Springs- Social Media
Deams- the show Daisy and the Six
Landslide - because of the many remakes

Tracy Chapman- Fast Car- Luke Combs Remake

Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers had a huge comeback thanks to the movie Ghost when I was in high school around 1990.

That's an interesting one, because it was never released as a single or made an album (should have been on Rumours)... it was a B-side to Go Your Own Way

It had its few minutes in the sun when FM released The Dance in the late 90s and the live version got some airplay...

Here’s an interesting one. Wasn’t the same song lyrically, but got Michael McDonald a #1 hit.

Real Life had a hit with this one twice in the 80’s…once in 1983 and again in 1989. Doesn’t fit decades but still odd.

They managed to take something as normal as an old cotton scale and make it look like something creepy.

In the US, it originally peaked at No. 9 in 1976 but re-charted at No. 2 in 1992 after appearing in the film Wayne's World. Its 2018 resurgence tied to the biopic of the same name also brought it back onto charts, and it is the most-streamed song from the 20th century.

Nirvana's cover in the 90's on MTV's Unplugged brought this one back with a vengeance

The Aerosmith Run-D.M.C. collaboration on Walk This Way revived Aerosmith's career a dozen years after the original was released.

Kate Bush was criminally under appreciated for a long time…

When Nicks wrote Silver Springs they didn’t initially have room for it on an Album, although she eventually won a Grammy for it.
