Sì, I had no idea who they were but a friend wanted to go so I went with him. I kind of liked their sound so the next week listened to Chronic Town that my friend had and I was hooked.

They have some of the greatest alternative rock songs of all time from their early albums and they mix in some of the worst commercial songs later. But I have respeck

stipe and merchant dated in the early 80s. Stipe credits her as a major songwriting influence

I remember watching that, and never having heard anything like it before. I wonder if Peter Buck gets embarrassed by all that awkward guitar dancing he was doing LOL
