My patio, with pool and grill nearby, and a big TV with good live show from Red Rocks, is pretty damn nice.

It’s not the same as being there in person.

I’ve been to a lot of cool venues…red rocks, the gorge, Santa Barbara Bowl, town park in telluride, Orion amp, etc. the nicest/coolest/friendliest/most beautiful is easily the ford amphitheater in vail. If you have the chance, it will blow your mind

I may go see string cheese there in a couple of weeks

I just prefer a lawn, like the now former Oak Mountain amphi in the 'ham. Could rent a lawn chair and lean back and relax with some room. Most new amphis seem to have reserved/designated seating.

My opinion is even the best outdoor venue is inferior to any indoor venue with a good sound system. The sound at outdoor venues sucks

Cody Jinks plays red rocks tomorrow night with Ward Davis. That would be legit.
Also, he just dropped a new album today. Good stuff.

Mishawaka amphitheater on the Cache la Poudre river in northern Colorado. Right in the river in a canyon. Small acts, camping nearby.

Definitely a bucket lister, right up there with RR.

Yes like the one in Atlanta.
The new one (Coca Cola Amphitheater) in the 'ham lacks a grassy area and is built in a dilapidated part of town - Druid Hills. There is the half demolished Carraway Hospital across the street and empty lots. However it has theater like seats with arm rest.

Went to the Ford Ampitheater this week for King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, who played with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra. Venue is right off 25, north of Colorado Springs. About 50 mins from Denver. Weather was perfect. It's a new venue, the only issue seems to be they must finish the show by 10pm.

Went a couple years ago and saw Turnpike Troubadours. It was a magical experience and worth every dollar. We had tickets for the Sunday night show, but checked StubHub about 30 minutes before the Saturday night show and found some cheap tix so we went two nights. Incredible. Found an Airbnb, did some hiking, all-around great trip.

Wow. First I've seen/heard of that and it is right up my alley. Close to the Ham, small shows that are affordable and even got some yurts. Damn. Thanks for posting that.
