I actually have to completely revise my previous statement. Seven Nation Army is far and away the most recognized bass line in the last 30 years. Definitely not the best, but absolutely the most recognized.

I'll give you that it's more recognizable to Rush fans and people who've listened to lots of rock music over the last few decades.
Then again, NM - you haven't heard Seven Nation Army?
If you listen to rock music, it seems like you would have listened to White Stripes somewhere along the line.

Gotcha. His peak years are in the rearview probably. His solo stuff the last few years has been hit and miss IMO.
