Yeah, big hole in my life as a result...how's Kurt doing by the way?

Not saying I disagree with you, but that was dumb.

His suicide catapulted that band and himself into this god like status that neither he nor the band ever deserved. I don't hate Nirvana but this worshiping at the Nirvana altar needs to stop. Kurt Cobain lives and their hype eventually dies out (no pun intended).

Limp Bizkit, would fit here, as would MC Hammer or New Edition.

I have no answer for this thread.
I like the nostalgic feeling of listening to music I liked before I was old enough to drive.

Thank you thank you. I am mystified as to how these two bands are still people's favorites. They have a shelf life that expires once you graduate high school. The music they made/make is so unbelievably mediocre.

Kiss- Not that I don't think they were good I just don't think their music aged well.

Whomever said 311 is right on. I still have that album I spent probably 18 bucks on at Camelot. You young uns have it so good now. We had to go to a CD store and pay a retarded amount of money for CDs back in the day.
I bet I haven't touched that CD except to pack it since 1996.
I get what you are sying. If I hear it now, I am nostalgic though.
Whomever said Kenny Rogers I think you are insane in the membrane. His voice alone transcends eras.

Nevermind is a great album. One of few albums I wouldn't actually buy now that everything is downloaded.

Incubus went off the deep end, but people don't realize how ahead of their time a few of the early albums were
Mine would be Kriss Kross
