You may not like them but each of those bands have a massive fanbase, have dozens of hits and have sold tens of millions of records worldwide. They probably won't win this shindig but they deserve to be included.

Syd Floyd?

I have been a fan for over 40 years and I have always loved this take on Pink Floyd. Though I understand how things got started, had Syd stayed with the band, they never, EVER, would have been as sucessful or as good.

The best thing that ever happened to Pink FLoyd was adding David Gilmour and his talent. The band would have died with the psychedelic 60's if he was not brought in after Syd went mental.

Roger may have been the driving force that carried them along for a while but what so many people will remember about Pink Floyd way after they are all gone is the music and the melody that Gilmour brought in.

I'll leave the nominations open for a few more days to see if we can get any more votes then I'll tally them all together and we can start the tourney

Be sure not to put Phish and The Shaggs in the same regional.

People want to see them matched up in the Final 4 (NCG if possible)

Gotcha Kafka
I'll see what happens. I am going to basically tally the votes and seed them based off of how many nominations each get, and then for the ones with only one vote, I'll randomize where they land.

I'm a little concerned that after 30 posts nobody has even nominated Bob Dylan

I know he just released an graphic and obscure 17 minute song about an assassination 55 years ago, but still...

No need for a bracket. It's a 2-way tie between Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
